This morning, as I headed out for work, I could feel that damp, cool feeling of fall in the air. There’s something special about stepping outside early this time of year. The sky is crisp and clear, the spider webs are covered in sparkling morning dew, and the air seems to have a little extra freshness to it. It truly is one of my favorite times of the year!
I also love the wonderful sights, smells, and flavors that come with fall. The scent of apples, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon seems to fill the air and remind us to slow down and enjoy the season. Then there are the beautiful fall colors—the deep reds, bright yellows, and brilliant oranges that transform the landscape. Add in gorgeous deep-red sunsets and a cozy campfire, and it’s hard not to fall in love with this time of year.
Of course, along with all the wonderful things fall brings, there are also a few chores that need to be taken care of around the house before winter arrives.
The fall to-do list can seem like a lot at first, but there’s no need to tackle everything at once. Take it one task at a time, and before you know it, the list will be finished and your home will be ready for the colder months ahead.
And remember to enjoy the season along the way! Take a break from the chores, gather around a warm campfire, or settle in with a hot cup of your favorite latte. A little time to enjoy the beauty of fall can make those seasonal chores feel much less daunting.
