The Trusses are set and the roof is sheeted! The Unger’s Roof is quite a interesting part of this house, with its many angles and interesting pikes. There was quite a bit of work involved in this roof, taking the framers several days to complete. Getting a home under roof (or dried in) as soon as possible is very important to a homeowner, as you might guess. Today, there are quite a few products on the market that can help speed this process up and make the job safer! One such product is GAF’s Tiger Paw roofing underlayment. Unlike the age old “felt Paper” (which was a tar-based product) this product is a synthetic paper with “grip” applied to it, making the installment of it much safer. Also, it will last in sub-par conditions much longer than the original felt paper that we used. To see more information on this product, check out their website at www.GAF.com/Tigerpaw
