Mountain Retreat Cabin
About the Project
This home is designed as a mountain retreat. It has two bedrooms with attached bathrooms and is built on a concrete slab. When designing a home on a slab, you need to think about where you are putting all your utilities and how you are getting plumbing to each bathroom and the kitchen. This isn’t an issue, as long as some thought has been put into it beforehand. I love how the beams turned out in the hallway and how the kitchen and great room turned out. Also, the side porch is so inviting, with its view of the stream!
